The Ritual Behind Our Stress Relief Kit: Decompression for Deeper Inner Work.

Stress doesn’t always look like chaos on the outside. Sometimes it’s the quiet clenching in your jaw, the tightness in your chest, the feeling that you’re “holding it together” while something inside you is begging to exhale.

Our Stress Relief Kit was created for that version of you — the one who’s ready not just to relax for a moment, but to gently meet what’s happening underneath. This ritual is about decompression, grounding, and opening a safe space for deeper inner work.

Inside the kit you’ll find:

  • An acupressure mat

  • A brass singing bowl

  • Two grounding crystals

  • An affirmation deck

Together, they become a simple, repeatable practice you can return to whenever your system feels overloaded.

Step 1: Arrive in Your Body

Acupressure Mat

Begin by creating a small, intentional space — a corner of your bedroom, a spot on the floor, or a yoga mat.

  • Lay out your acupressure mat and slowly lower yourself onto it (you can start with a thin shirt if you’re sensitive).

  • Take a few slow, deep breaths as the points meet your skin.

  • At first, you may feel a bit of intensity. Stay curious. Notice how, after a few minutes, that sharpness begins to soften into warmth and release.

This is your body’s way of letting go. Let the mat remind you that you are allowed to take up space, to feel, and to soften.

Step 2: Ground Your Energy

Two Grounding Crystals

Once you’ve settled into the mat, bring your grounding crystals into the ritual.

  • Hold one crystal in each hand, or place them on either side of your hips.

  • Imagine any scattered, frantic energy slowly draining down through your body and into the earth.

  • You might silently repeat: “I am here. I am held. I am safe in this moment.”

The crystals are not here to “fix” you. They’re here as anchors — small, solid reminders that you are supported as you begin to look inward.

Step 3: Let Sound Clear the Static

Brass Singing Bowl

When you feel ready, gently sit up or stay reclined and bring your brass singing bowl into your hands.

  • Strike the bowl softly and listen as the sound blooms and fades.

  • Then, slowly circle the mallet around the rim, letting the tone build.

  • With each ring, imagine the sound moving through your chest, your throat, your mind — loosening the static and noise that’s been building all day.

You don’t have to “do” anything with what comes up. Just let the sound make space — space for breath, space for feeling, space for you.

Step 4: Speak to Your Inner World

Affirmation Deck

Now that your body is more grounded and your energy is softer, it’s time to connect with your inner voice.

  • Shuffle your affirmation deck and pull one card.

  • Read it slowly, out loud if you can.

  • Ask yourself: Where in my life do I need to hear this the most right now?

You might journal a few lines, or simply sit with the words. Let the affirmation be a gentle invitation, not a demand — a way of saying to yourself, “I’m listening. I’m willing to meet what’s here.”

Step 5: Close the Ritual with Intention

Before you move back into your day or evening, take a moment to close the space you’ve opened.

  • Place the crystals back in their spot, fold the mat, and rest the singing bowl and affirmation deck together.

  • Take three slow breaths and place a hand over your heart or belly.

  • You might say:

    • “I honor the part of me that is tired.”

    • “I honor the part of me that is healing.”

    • “I honor the part of me that is ready for deeper inner work, at my own pace.”

This ritual is not about perfection. It’s about creating a repeatable, loving container where your nervous system can decompress and your inner world can be seen, gently and safely.

A Kit for the Work Beneath the Stress

The Stress Relief Kit is more than a set of tools — it’s a doorway.

  • The acupressure mat helps your body release what it’s been holding.

  • The grounding crystals remind you that you are supported.

  • The brass singing bowl clears space with sound.

  • The affirmation deck gives your inner voice language and care.

Over time, this ritual can become a trusted practice you return to when life feels heavy, when your system is buzzing, or when you’re ready to go a little deeper with yourself — without forcing, rushing, or pushing.
